Making Veterans’ Healthcare More Accessible with the VA Office of Connected Care (VA OCC)
In collaboration with the VA OCC since 2010, Iron Bow has been instrumental in advancing telehealth and connected care solutions, dramatically improving the delivery of timely, high-quality healthcare to Veterans. These initiatives have enabled over 4.3 million unique Veterans to access healthcare remotely in over 40 million encounters, saving a remarkable 4.2 billion miles of travel.

Under the Connected Care Integrated Network (CCIN) contract, Iron Bow will continue supporting the VA OCC with services across four functional areas: (1) connected care technology software and mobile medical app design, development, enhancement and remediation; (2) infrastructure and architecture support; (3) help desk support; (4) product ordering and inventory and asset management. Iron Bow has configured and distributed over 135,000 patient video tablets (PVTs), 10,000 patient video smart phones (PVSPs) and 51,000 smartphones for homeless veterans.
We have also developed and supported 20+ health-related mobile apps, using over 150 APIs to connect to VA Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and other applications.
